With ongoing record-breaking port activity, the widening of the Savannah River, and the widening of the Panama Canal, Savannah is poised for a continued run of strong supply chain and logistics employment growth. Furthermore, with the decommissioning of over 3,000 military veterans per year in the Savannah area, Savannah is well positioned to provide a solid workforce to meet these needs.

The Supply Chain & Logistics Institute is doing its part to prepare the region for continued success by opening an office on the Georgia Tech Savannah Campus which is launching tailored workforce development courses, online training, supply chain short courses, and executive seminars. More details on these programs to come this summer!
