Piedmont Atlanta Hospital

Client Profile

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital with 773 licensed beds and is a leader in patient care that’s helped the Atlanta community get better and stay well for more than a century. Piedmont Atlanta Hospital performs inpatient and outpatient surgeries, and our surgical facilities are among the most advanced in the country.

Thousands of patients visit Piedmont yearly for routine outpatient procedures such as knee surgery, appendectomies and tonsillectomies. Hundreds more choose Piedmont each year for critical surgery like open heart and organ transplant surgery - even advanced procedures like robotic-assisted surgery.

Project Description

With thousands of surgeries performed in our Marcus Tower operating rooms and Piedmont Heart Institute operating rooms, there are millions of dollars in supplies that are ordered, stored and pulled for cases. Medical supplies used in surgical cases can range from frequently used, inexpensive items to less frequently used, high dollar items.

This project would focus on the Piedmont Heart Insitute operating rooms.
