About

Alejandro Toriello is the UPS Professor of Logistics in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. He also serves as Scientific Director of the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute (SCL). From October 2017 through September 2022 he was the Leo and Louise Benatar Early Career Professor.

His research interests lie in the theory and application of supply chain management, logistics and transportation, and in related optimization methodologies. 

Dr. Toriello received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2010. Prior to joining ISyE, he served as an assistant professor in the Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California.
