Rosemary Barrass is a PhD student in Machine Learning. She earned bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Washington State University Vancouver. She is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant under Pascal Van Hentenryck in the Artificial Intelligence Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4Opt). Her research is in power systems with a focus on the unit commitment problem.
Prior to Georgia Tech, Rosemary conducted undergraduate research under Bala Krishnamoorthy at Washington State University Vancouver. This research focused on novel robust optimization techniques with applications in power systems.
