Bastián Bahamondes is a 5th year Ph.D student in Operations Research with a minor in Machine Learning at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is a recipient of the Stewart Fellowship award.
His research focuses in game theory, combinatorial optimization and predictive analytics, with applications to the design of network inspection operations for the detection of stochastic and adversarial disruptions, under the supervision of Dr. Mathieu Dahan.
Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Bastián received a B.Sc. in Engineering Mathematics and a M.Sc. in Operations Management at Universidad de Chile.
