About

Mehrdad Moradi is a second year phd student in Machine Learning at GT. His research concerns developing statistical machine learning and deep learning methods for analyzing high-dimensional data with applications in multi-object tracking and computer vision. His application domain is in additive manufacturing, especially understanding the relationship between the process parameters and quality of the produced parts by analyzing spatter trajectories obtained from in-situ video data.

Mehrdad has been awarded Stewart Fellowship award in 2022. Before that, He received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
