About

Miguel Campos is a Fulbright Scholar Grantee from Bogota, Colombia. He is currently a fourth year Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. His academic background includes bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering. With over 8 years of experience with industry related projects, Miguel is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Physical Internet Center under the direction of Dr. Benoit Montreuil. His main research focuses on improving the performance of supply chains and logistics systems through the use of large-scale simulation. More broadly, his research interests include supply chain engineering, transportation, parcel delivery, durable goods delivery, manufacturing, applied statistics, optimization and large-scale simulation.
