Terrence W.K. Mak is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE), Georgia Tech. He has graduated from the Research School of Computer Science, The Australian National University (ANU), and finished his Research Associate position in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering, University of Michigan. 


His PhD and post-doc supervisor is Prof. Pascal Van Hentenryck, currently the A. Russell Chandler III Chair and Professor in the ISyE Department at Georgia Tech. He works mainly on the broad intersections of energy and artificial intelligence, and has been recently working on projects funded by ARPA-E (Department of Energy), including the Grid Research for Good project, the Risk Aware Market Clearing project, and the Grid Optimization Competition project.
